Dear Future English 110 students,

I would like to start this letter off by saying that this entire thing is going to be coming from the opinion of a person who never really enojoyed writing, nor was I ever really good at it either. With that said, English is not something to worry too much about as long as you keep up with class. There is plenty of help from your instructor and even your friends who are better writers if you need it.

One thing i strongly encourage is to not go into the class being discouraged. When I first started the class, I dreaded the fact that I would be writing papers and thought I was going to do terrible on just about all of them. For many of them I feared i wouldn't even know where to start. Once I got going in the class, though, this was not the case at all. I began to realize what it takes to write a good paper and even think I made much improvement from high school.

On thing i highly recommend to you all is to not procrastinate. I know it is easy for someone to say not to, but English is much easier and much less stressful when you aren't trying to produce a paper at the last minute. It also can make it more enjoyable as well.

Best of luck,

Collin Krebs
